Tech-enabled language services provider Word360 has been awarded a major contract with NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Board (ICB), supporting GP practices across the region to tackle health inequalities.

The large contract covering over 150 GP sites and primary care facilities means the Word360 technology and linguist network will provide a staff access to:

In the first couple of months of servicing the contract, Word360’s public sector expertise has delivered 100% of requested languages (62 languages) and already enabled the trust to reduce costs on nearly 850 patient appointments by offering digital alternatives where suitable.

With just over one million people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, and an increasingly diverse community, the trust has taken this steps to ensure patients have timely access to care to help maximise their health and wellbeing.
